Andy is right, didymus. The only acceptable solution is the complete and total elimination of abortion. Yes, people will still get their back alley surgeries but that is as it should be.

Murder is done in the dark and in disgrace. The murder of the unborn should be no different.

Obama is responsible for his votes while in Illinois, and for the Supreme Court Justices that he appoints, but he is also responsible for being the humane in thought action and deed as the leader of our country. remain legal.I think it needs to be said that, first, the president honestly doesn’t have much power over the decision of Roe vs. Wade. He doesn’t have the power to make it illegal. True, he gets to pick a Supreme Court Justice here soon who will likely be pro-abortion, but congress will be to blame for approving him. And it’s true he has said he would pass certain legislation once he came into office, but I am not the only one who has noticed that he has so far been a bit shy on fulfilling certain campaign promises. The Vatican, in L'Osservatore Romano had an article a few weeks ago also noting with surprise the Pregnant Women Support Act, which would help women overcome problems that often cause them to have abortions, sponsored by pro-life Democrats. And the National Catholic Reporter has also noticed that Obama has not been as pro-abortion as previously advertised.

Second, as noted in the John Piper quote above, it is not president Obama who killed them, it is we who killed them. Even if abortion was made illegal that doesn’t stop the “we killed them” part. And voting for a Republican president isn’t the answer as evidenced by all the years we’ve had Republican presidents in office since 1973, and abortion has remained legal.

Why continue to just rail against Obama? Why not work with him instead, hold him to the promise of reducing the actual number of abortions that would be done by rooting out and finding solutions to the reasons for why “we killed them”?
