Well, considering some of the things I read in the news today, I might suggest you start praying harder now. The Democrats, in addition to everything else, might just get the 60 seats they need to overcome filibusters in the Senate, and pass any liberal thing they want.

If Obama wins which I pray he doesnt then what will I do:

-I will pray for the unborn even harder, according to Obama he will take away their right to live first by signing FOCA.
-I will conserve my money since it is likely that the economy will get worse with increased Government spending and higher taxes for all our employers.
-I will pray that our Christian freedoms like reading our Bibles and preaching will not be removed in the name of "tolerance".
-I will pray that our right to homeschool will not be removed
-I will be praying theat Jeremiah Wright will not be made Secretary of State

There is more, but I think this list is sufficient... to sum it up....looks like I will be praying lots more.

I cannot believe that you call yourself a Christian but do not give a whip about the life issue. How absolutely disturbing.

I think you need to re-evaluate your faith and where you stand with God.

One CANNOT be pro-murder and Christian. It just cannot be. The Spirit of God that lives within the true Christian would not allow that to be the case.

I do agree, in many states, not voting for McCain would be a vote for Obama, but since I live in a (the?) Red State, that will probably always be Red, and since it isn't popular vote that elects a president, I suppose in this case I can vote my heart. I really don't feel like I can vote McCain, since he is for funding of embryonic stem cell research (one of the few Rep. Senators that was for it, as was Hatch etc), and I would be a hypocrite to vote for him, when I wouldn't vote for Obama for the same reason...but I have the ability to make a 3rd party choice. If I lived in a non-Red/Tie state, I would vote for McCain...although I think it would be difficult. Thank you for this perspective though, and I hadn't thought of how much influence Palin might have on McCain. I am praying for those people whose vote really does count...

On my ballot card I am listed as Constitution Party, and I will vote that way in every single vote I cast, except for President.

My vote will go to John Mccain. Not because I think he is a better candidate then what the Constitution Party has to offer but because this election is too important. Last election I voted for Peroutka. This one I cannot do that.

You and I both know that it is going to be either Mccain or Obama-nation. If I give my vote to The Constitution party I am taking one away from Mccain and basically giving it to obama. I cannot do that.

What Andy said is true. We stand to lose everything that is dear to us this election if that man gets in office. He will immediately void out every single stride we have made on the life issue and will basically secure the Roe V. Wade decision for many years to come.

Please, look at it in the right light and do the thing that will cause the most good to happen.

The Constitution Party is a 100% Pro Life. The big issue is however is the Supreme Court. There is going to be 1-3 slots opening up in the next 4 years and we only need 1 for a overturn of Roe vs. Wade. McCain who has painted himself in a corner on this issue because of Palin will have to do a conservative, constitution abiding, baby loving judge. This could then overturn Roe vs. Wade in short order and help save 4000 lives a day! This is the principle that drives me to vote for McCain/Palin. If you vote Constitution Party you are essentially giving Obama another vote. The embryonic stem cell research is a recent issue for him and I think it is awful if he decides to support it (which would be contrary to his website). I think Palin has influence on him in this area and if Roe vs. Wade is overturned or there is a proclamation about life beginning at conception that is mandated then those rights will be extended and by default embryonic stem cell research will not go forward.

I find myself not able to vote for McCain or Obama because of both their views on stem cell research funding. Do you draw the line of sanctity of human life at just abortion, or also destruction of innocent embryos (loaded question eh?) I draw it at any destruction of innocent life... so I'm looking for another candidate to vote for. I'm still looking, but thinking about the constitutional party...thoughts?
